Significant changes to the 2015 Diavel include the new LED headlight, which is visually stunning and filled the multiple mountain tunnels on our ride with light. The lower TFT display (on the tank) now includes a fuel gauge and sidestand indicator, while the LCD top screen still provides the more pertinent riding info such as speed and rpm. Another upgrade is the seat, which has thicker foam and a new shape that is flatter and far more comfortable for longer rides.
The Diavel’s heart is the Testastretta 11° Dual Spark (DS) engine. Ducati’s Testastretta 11° DS harnesses the immense power of a Superbike engine and makes it more linear and usable. A perfect base for the Diavel: full of character, and producing 162hp for scorching acceleration, along with smooth and controllable delivery for cruising the boulevard at any speed.
